Phyllis Hooten is a freelance writer who regularly writes for the Good News, a regional Christian Newspaper, and the inspirational site Woe2Wow.org. She has a Ph.D. in nursing and formerly worked as a nurse scientist and nursing instructor. She assists Asia Highland Partners with social media posts and is excited to be part of an organization with a heart for reaching millions of unreached people in South Asia. She is a member of Acts Church in Waco, TX, where she volunteers with the prayer and women’s ministries. She lives with her husband, Samuel, and three rescue dogs.
